So Make It Worthy Single and Video launch

Luke J Christie and his younger sister Joanna were born and raised in Yorkshire. Their mother, a musician, first taught them to sing when they were 3 years old, and later take up Drums and Piano. After time spent in Cuba and Spain, Luke returned to London to play with many different bands and artists.

His debut album was completed in early 2012 and was heavily influenced by his involvement with the Hackney Colliery Band. The album featured a similar lineup to the Hackney Colliery Band of two drummers, Sousaphone, two Trombones, two Trumpets and two Saxophones but with the addition of vocals. This band was the original Held Breath, but after recording the album, it became obvious that a stripped down lineup was the future. Luke J Christie and the Held Breath are Luke J Christie, Joanna Christie and Yvette Riby-Williams who all sing and play drums, and also Jeff Miller and Ed Ashby on Sousaphone.
